This database has expanded appreciably since its inception and today contains detailed information on the properties and legislative context of nearly 10,000 hazardous chemicals.<\/p>\n<h3>Hazardous chemicals included in the database<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">All substances (index numbers) listed in Annex VI to the CLP Regulation (1272\/2008\/EC) \u2013 Harmonised classification and labelling for certain hazardous substances, including oil-derived substances<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">All substances that are listed and classified as dangerous in the current ADR\/RID version (2021)<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Other selected substances listed in standards relating to pesticides, biocidal products, occupational health, hygienic limits (EU\/CZ\/SK\/PL)\u00a0and the like<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Information included in the database<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Each hazardous chemical substance record is divided into the following sections:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">F1 \u2013 Identification and classification data: CAS, EINECS, index numbers, substance classification according to applicable legislation, basic information according to ADR, RID, IMDG and IATA, ERG, ERIC, HAZCHEM, molecular and structure formulas, synonyms, etc.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">F2 \u2013 Basic properties and fire-fighting methods \u2013 flammability and reactivity data, fire-fighting methods and measures at the scene and post-accident steps. Precautionary measures<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">F3 \u2013 Physical and chemical properties: appearance, physical state, melting point, boiling point, density, solubility, vapour pressure, etc.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">F4 \u2013 Transport \u2013 according to the agreements on the transport of dangerous goods: ADR, RID, IMDG, IATA. Class, classification code, packing group, hazard label, special provisions, etc.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">F5 \u2013 First aid and medical treatment: intoxication symptoms and first aid measures according to the substance properties<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">F6 \u2013 Toxicity \u2013 toxicological and ecotoxicological information, mutagenicity, carcinogenicity, reproductive toxicity, etc.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">F7 \u2013 Legislation \u2013 information \u2013 specific data following from legislation (Severe Accident Prevention Act, health and safety limits and biological limits CZ\/SK\/PL\/EU, biocidal legislation-related information, etc.)<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">F8 \u2013 Legislation \u2013 regulations \u2013 identification of specific substances in applicable legislation (CLP, REACH \u2013 Annexes IV, V, XIV, XVII, European legislation concerning biocidal products, POPs, PIC, etc., Czech legislation governing the handling of chemicals, environmental protection, making chemical substances available on the market, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Database versions<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Local or network version<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>intended for\u00a0installation on your computer, Internet \u00a0access is not required for its\u00a0use<\/li>\n<li>local installation is intended for a single specific computer<\/li>\n<li>the network variant is intended for installation, e.g., on a server accessed by remote users, whereby the necessity to register and update the software on each user&#8217;s computer is eliminated<\/li>\n<li>for Windows\u00a02000 and higher<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Online version<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">online access via a web interface, nothing needs to be installed on your computer<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">you can simply log in by entering the password assigned to you<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">access based on the submitted IP address is also offered to major organisations<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">the demo version <a href=\"http:\/\/www.medisalarm.cz\/\">of the MEDIS-ALARM database<\/a> is available for trial use<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Version for mobile systems equipped with Android software<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">offline mode for smartphones with Android version 4.x or higher<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">intuitive use<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">simple installation by downloading from\u00a0the website<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">the demo version <a href=\"https:\/\/android.medisalarm.cz\/medisalarm-release.apk\">of the MEDIS-ALARM database<\/a> is available for trial use<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All versions contain the same data and are updated 4 times a year to match current legislation.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We wish to introduce you to our unique MEDIS-ALARM database, which we have been building since 1991 with the idea of creating a comprehensive data collection for the most commonly used hazardous chemicals.
